So, instead of swiping an extra button without paying for it, here is what I propose:
I will send money for the extra button to my sister-in-law. But I am offering this gold ribbon button to some lucky reader (sorry the photo is such poor quality). My sister-in-law mentioned that someone asked about her button and wondered why it wasn't pink. She was able to explain that the pink ribbon is for increasing awareness of breast cancer, but the gold ribbon is now designated for increasing awareness of childhood cancer.
On the Card bearing the button it states:
If you leave a comment on this posting, I will enter your name into the contest. On Monday, June 30th, I will put all the names in a hat and allow my MS to select the winner. At this point, I received the largest number of comments on my pole-dancing post. 11 comments, but I contributed 3 of those comments in response to others. Competition shouldn't be too rigorous; give it a whirl!

What a beautiful idea and button for a great cause.
You see that new widget of mine works a treat, I knew the moment you blogged! ;-)
The prevalence of childhood cancers is greater than I ever imagined. I hope that we will see more cures in our lifetime. ~Karin
Me me! As you may know, my daughter Kennedy fought.. and beat... Leukemia! It will always be a cause dear to my heart!
I'm not commenting as much to win the contest as to say your blog is wonderful! Thank you for having this contest, through sharing this giveaway on other sites I was able to find your story. :)
As for the pin, it's beautiful. I never knew that gold was the official color for childhood cancer awareness. I wish we could somehow increase awareness to the level that breast cancer currently has today. That would be amazing!
I'd love to be considered, I work at St. Jude and would love to wear that pretty pin on my lanyard for all to see! :)
1st of all i love you blog, I am new at this blogging thing so i like to read others to see what all they talk. The love the pin too hehe
I help look after kids at my church, there's (their nicknames!) Lambkin who is 6, Miss C who is also 6 (she has DS), Fabster who is 2 and Essie who is like 10 weeks old (she is super cute!!!!!)
It scares me to think that out of 6 hundred kids in the UK 1 would get diagnosed with cancer. On the upside 7 in 10 are cured!!! (so if thats 1 in 600 are diagnosed that means 7 in 4200 are diagnosed and cured - I am such a geek with the mathness lol)
I only found your blog today via Life with My Special K's . Definately adding to rss!
What an awesome idea and a great cause!! I have such a special place in my heart for all of those children and say prayers for them every night.
Thank you for bringing awareness. (Sorry if this goes more than once b/c I didn't think it went the first couple of times.)

I also learned of your blog from Renee (mom to those special k's)....what a neat giveaway. For those of us that don't win, could you post a link where you found the pin? I know of 2 families locally that would wear it with pride, without including ours in the list. I've enjoyed looking through your blog!
Cathy
Visiting from Renee's blog!
I would be honored to win this pin. It is beautiful and meaningful.
