Book Review: A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23

This brief little book by W. Phillip Keller provides fresh and insightful commentary on one of the most famous passages of the Bible, the 23rd Psalm. A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23 is only a 3 hour and 45 minute listen, but the experience will lead to a deeper understanding of what we often overlook because we know the psalm by rote memory. The author is familiar with tending sheep. He knows both the way of the sheep and of the good shepherd. He explores and dissects each phrase in the psalm to glean meaning and inspiration for Christians. I found this Christian classic so encouraging to my heart and soul. It made me want to stay close to the Father and trust His expert care.
