While Mma Ramotswe knocks a man off his bicycle, Mma Makutsi bumps into love. Blackmail, an attempted burglary (where Mma Ramotswe almost crushes a man hiding under her bed), her beloved white van stolen, and embezzled funds - the plot thickens and the characters shine.
